Brand photo-shoot in Lincolnshire - financial trainer and mindset coach - Serena Humphrey
Meet Serena - a Chartered Management accountant, financial trainer, financial mindset coach, NLP coach, and a highly experienced CFO and business owner. Serena is on a lifelong mission to help business owners achieve the financial security they deserve from their businesses.
“Why do some businesses survive the tough times when others fail? Why do some people get financial security when others stay vulnerable, no matter how hard they work? These questions ignited a mission - to understand the real drivers of financial security and to help business owners build it for themselves. My work is the culmination of everything I’ve learned - not just as a CFO or financial expert, but as a coach and a business owner who’s followed all the “should” advice and found a healthier happier way to create financial success.”
We spent a wonderful March day together capturing fresh, vibrant images to celebrate the launch of Serena’s exciting new venture. She shared with me that she’d been “hiding” for a while, and this shoot was about stepping into visibility - taking her rightful place at the heart of her business, sharing her story, and confidently marketing the work she feels called to do.
The vision for Serena’s shoot was clear: creating photographs of her that felt approachable, trustworthy, real, and energetic - communicating that Serena is someone who brings clarity, comfort, and genuine support. She’s bold, distinctive, and unafraid to stand out or stand for something. My goal was to design a shoot that reflected all of that - one that captured Serena wholeheartedly, just as she is. She radiates knowledge, honesty, authenticity, supportiveness, and fun, and it was an absolute joy to step into her world and translate her energy into powerful imagery.
Here’s what Serena had to say about her personal branding shoot, “When I was looking for someone to take some photos for my new business launch I had over a dozen recommendations. Karina stood out above everyone else with her wonderful personal branding proposition. I had no idea what to expect, and certainly could not have imagined that she would take SO much care to properly get to know me, my business and what my photos needed to say about my brand. I was nervous about the photo shoot day, but I needn’t have been; Karina is a total genius and knows exactly what it takes to make your photos look fabulous (even if you don’t feel at your absolute best!). I was blown away by how Karina totally captured my vibe, and exactly how I wanted to come across in my photos. She is an amazing photographer. Everyone has commented on how wonderful the photos are on my website and LinkedIn posts. I wasn’t entirely sure at first that I could justify the investment, but it was worth every penny and then some.”
